The Duke Family: Cade's 4th Birthday!
http://rlandmelissaduke.blogspot.com/2010/05/cades-4th-birthday.html
Mother's Day "Photo Shoot". Sunday, May 16, 2010. Cade's birthday was April 1st. He had been waiting sense Christmas for his birthday to come! We bought him a fun new playground. But wouldn't you know it.there was snow all week before his birthday. So instead, he got a picture of his upcoming gift. This isn't the most exciting thing for a 4 year old. It isn't real until it is tangible! I love watching him grow up. But it is so hard to see him get so big, and change so much! Once upon a time.

The Osterhouse: January 2015
http://theosterhouse.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
January 18, 2015. With a new baby due any day, it is impossible not to feel that this will be an exciting year. I've never been very great at making New Year's resolutions.but I am going to try and keep this blog more updated. It also happens to be January. So I guess I can consider this a New Year's resolution. January has been an eventful month so far. Not to mention a beautiful one. I, unfortunately, allowed her to come with me to purchase them, so black and pale pink were not in the cards. Devin expl...

The Osterhouse: September 2013
http://theosterhouse.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
September 1, 2013. It has been an entire year since we moved from England to Utah. I still miss Harrogate so much and constantly think of what I would do if I could transport myself there for a day. BUT, that aside, we are loving our time in Utah and this summer was wonderful. I have enjoyed every single sunny day in preparation for a long and cold winter ahead! 1 We enjoyed our first real Osterhout family reunion in Ashton, Idaho. It was nice to have everyone together for a weekend. 2 We spent a long we...

The Osterhouse: June 2013
http://theosterhouse.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
June 22, 2013. Aside from working on our landscaping, we managed to fit in a few fun activities during the past month. Many surrounded end of school activities. Clara had her first pinewood derby with her church group. She is obsessed with Harry Potter at the moment, so she wanted to make a Firebolt as her vehicle. It was creative but maybe not the most aerodynamic thing on the track. :). She also had her dance performance and did a fantastic job! She is in the pink shirt section second row from the top.

The Osterhouse: July 2013
http://theosterhouse.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
July 2, 2013. Nine nine year olds for a ninth birthday. One week ago Clara turned 9! And every day since has been a complete celebration. From her actual birthday to having really fun visitors to a big family reunion at Yellowstone to the culminating event of a Harry Potter birthday party this afternoon with 9 nine year old girls. I think it was a pretty successful week! I was lucky enough to have my best friend from high school on come visit me! Chocolate cake with caramel frosting was the dessert reque...

The Osterhouse: April 2014
http://theosterhouse.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
April 6, 2014. On March 10, 2014, Nell turned 3 years old! We pulled in around 10:00pm the night before Nell's birthday after an all day drive home from California. We knew the kids would all expect the traditional birthday string so we quickly got the kids in bed, wrapped presents and set up for the morning. Nell woke up to the string attached to her door with small presents (a box of fruit snacks and candy were the request) along the string leading to her birthday presents. Although she had been too bu...

The Osterhouse: Introducing: Freya Agnes Osterhout
http://theosterhouse.blogspot.com/2015/02/introducting-freya-agnes-osterhout.html
February 3, 2015. Introducing: Freya Agnes Osterhout. Just over a week ago - Sunday, January 25th - I went about the day as usual. We had a lazy morning, went to church and came home to a delicious new recipe I had tried. The day was pretty perfect other than being hugely pregnant. :) After getting our kids in bed, Devin and I sat down to enjoy Downton Abbey together. This particular pregnancy was hard. Labor and delivery were difficult. But having my new baby placed immediately on my chest and f...I lov...

The Osterhouse: March 2013
http://theosterhouse.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
March 23, 2013. In the past week, each of my children has surprised me with something. And each time I have laugh pretty hard, so I thought I'd share. When I go into his room each morning, I am never sure of what I am going to find. One recent morning, I found him without any pajamas on and his bed lined with books. One day I had a number of errands to run. It was Nell's nap time but what was I to do? How did I not notice this earlier? Soon enough she noticed it and kept saying "pop-pop" and pointing to ...
