Sunday, August 24, 2014. We went camping at Washington State Park this weekend. Of course it was the hottest weekend of the summer so far! We spent Saturday morning at the Big River beach and then the afternoon at the pool! Oscar likes his baseball set! Watch out Oliver is using the hatchet! Wednesday, August 14, 2013. 1st Day of Second Grade! Today is Oliver's first day of second grade. Man where does the time go? He seems so big! His teacher is Miss Benfatto. Sunday, November 24, 2013. Oliver had a great time playing in the leaves this month! We have begun a new tradition on our street.Firepit Friday! The kids run around like crazy people and the adults enjoy each other's company! Bowling with the Cub Scouts on a dreary Sunday afternoon! More leaves.where's Oliver? Oscar bonding with Papa Stu. SIUE had a kids activity day with bounce houses and painted tattoos and crafts for the kids. Perfect for a very cold Saturday afternoon. Don't they look so happy?

Saturday, June 27, 2015. Ivy finished the 1 mile with a broken foot! Oliver ran the whole way in less than 10 min! Then we were off to Cub Scouts Field Day! Pool at the Alpine Lodge! Playing cards in the cabin! Cousins all in the wrong shoes! Psghetti's - Oscar loved the giant meatball! It was raining all day when we got home so instead of going to Hurricane Harbor we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese's in Chesterfield! Oscar got to drive the bumper cars! Father's day and Uncle Jack's 60th birthday!

We left at 3am and arrived at 5pm. Yep, we were delirious. By 6:30 pm we were enjoying margaritas at Don Pedro's. Sunday morning we walked on the beach. It was in the 60's and very nice. After a power nap, we took a mini hike at Henderson State Park. I guess this is what the beach would look like. Without condo's and hotels.

There were fifty things on each list and we only had two 1/2 hours to get it all done! We stopped in a couple of bars and Schnucks, the dollar store, Kevin's parents house, the rec-plex and gazebo and several gas stations. We also had to get a tour of the honeymoon suite at the Drury Inn. We ended the night at Kokomo's. Here they are figuring out the winners! The Day Before The Big Day!
