This is the life of Olive Rose. Thursday, May 8, 2014. My sweet mom and sister had the house ready for us! Yesterday marked one month since we got to come home from the hospital with our sweet little girl! Four weeks have never flown by so fast! All dressed and ready to head home! Olive has done so well since coming home! She nurses like it's her job and has put on well over two pounds. She has also grown four inches from her birth length! In her car seat on the drive home! Here's to you Olive Rose!

He was concerned that she may have an infection and wanted to do a chest X-ray and some blood work just to rule out some possibilities. At 40 weeks and 11 days pregnant we packed our suitcase and the diaper bag and made our way to the hospital to begin the induction process that would lead to the birth of our first baby. This is the life of Olive Rose. Sunday, March 30, 2014. A Very Good Day. Saturday morning we were greeted with great news from Olive's doctors and nurses. She would be getting another tube out! The really good news? Now that it is out, we can hold her whenever we want! Including skin to skin contact, which helps with bonding, soothing and her healing. We have started anticipating the morning rounds with excitement, as each one seems to bring us more good news! This little girl is so strong and her recovery seems to be moving at the speed of light!
