Monday, November 5, 2012. Student of the Month. Carter was student of the month for Sept. in his English class. We got to attend a special pizza lunch on the stage complete with cake. Good work Carter! Fall sports finished last week and I couldn't be more happy! I love to watch my kids compete and play sports they love but this season it seemed to go on forever. Monday, May 12, 2014. We were in the farm supply store and they had the cutest baby chicks! How can you say no to that fluffy little thing? Here's the girls picking out what kind we want and learning about the different breeds of chickens. The chick above is Willow and she is Cassidy's chick. We also have an all white Leghorn named CJ for Carter Jr. The rest of the chicks names vary depending on the day. The girls, especially Cass are loving holding them and watching them grow. Saturday, February 22, 2014. Cade has been wrestling the past several months for the high school team. He has had a chance to wrestle as varsity in several matches. While wrestling is not my favorite sport, it has been fun to watch him compete this season. He has done a great job. Uncle Steve stood in line forever for the girls to get to meet the princesses from Frozen. Cassidy said it was her very favorite part of the trip. Thanks Uncle Steve! Saturday, February 22, 2014. Carter turned 12 this year. He's such a handsome guy - even when he doesn't smile for pictures. He received the Priesthood from his Dad and both his Grandpas and many of his Uncles were able to stand in. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. It's that time of year. Wrestling season is in full swing around here. Chris is coaching Little Guy wrestling and both boys are competing. They had their second tournament last weekend. Cade took 1st in his age/weight group and the weekend before Carter took 3rd in his age/weight group. Saturday, December 31, 2011. The boys were able to try out their dirt bike today. Even Cami got a ride. Cassidy had to settle for riding her princess 4 wheeler around the house. Saturday, December 24, 2011. The big guy paid us a visit last night. Since we will be in Vegas for Christmas we made special arrangements via email for Santa to come early this year. Friday, May 25, 2012. This week Cade had a Boy Scout Court of Honor. He received 2 merit badges - music and cinematography. Carter also had his last Cub Scout Pack Meeting before he becomes a Boy Scout. He earned several different pins as well as his Arrow of Light award. He is really excited to go to Boy Scouts now and is determined to earn his Eagle before Cade. Great job guys! Keep up the hard work. Friday, May 11, 2012. Cassidy turned 2 1/2 yesterday.
