Sometimes we all need some one to talk us out of chumpatizin' ourselves. Sunday, March 1, 2009. Big week, good month. It's been a long time since my last post. december was ski month- it got to the point where i was skiing nearly every day. but i wrapped up my ski season pretty early, for these parts, with an eighteen mile point to point ski on new years day. I'm hoping to slowly build up my mileage to the point where i run a half dozen or so 100 mile weeks this summer before i begin tapering for cascade...

Well so much for no chumpatizin' in 2010. starting off the new year with 2 back-to-back injuries doesn't make for much running but the last 2 runs have been pain free so hopefully i'm over the hump and on the road to full recovery. I've also been distracted with work, which has included sucessfully putting on another race on orcas island. And projects at the bear fight center. Volunteer at chuckanut 50k.

Weekly training log 3/31 to 4/6. 0:30 mins 3.5 miles mix of road and trail legs felt good despite all the running the last two weeks. 2:00 20-25 mile bike ride. 0:30 5 mile bike ride to and from massage.
