Panagia Faneromeni ( Virgin Mairy the Revealed), Nea Skioni. Εκκλησάκι Παναγίας φανερωμένης, Νέα Σκιώνη. Η παράδοση λέει ότι, το 16ο αιώνα ένας χωρικός της περιοχής είδε ένα φως στη θάλασσα να πλησιάζει στην ακτή. Νομίζοντας ότι πρόκειται για πειρατικό καράβι, επέστρεψε στο χωριό να ειδοποιήσει τους συγχωριανούς του. Η τοπική παράδοση αναφέρει ότι η εικόνα κλαίει πριν συμβεί κάτι κακό στη χώρα. Drosoulites ( ghosts appearing at down). At the end of May and beginning of June, a few minutes before the rising of the sun a strange appearance takes place in Frangocastello. Human shadows move forward the one behind the other for ten minutes. They move slowly towards the castle and disappear in the sea. They are Drosoulites, as the people of the area call these ghosts. Ήπειρος Όρος Τύμφη και Σμόλικας Δρακολίμνες. Στον ορεινό όγκο της βόρειας Πίνδου. Οι πιο γνωστές Δρακόλιμνες είναι η Δρακόλιμνη της Γκαμήλας ( Τύμφης. Και η Δρακόλιμνη του Σμόλικα. Η Δρακολίμνη της Γκαμήλας έχει στις όχθες της μαύρο χώμα, σπαρμένο με άσπρες πέτρες. Η Δρακολίμνη τού Σμόλικα έχει στις όχθες της άσπρο χώμα, πού όμως είναι σπαρμένο με μαύρες πέτρες.
