Kettles park is a plethora of trails and diverse woodlands. The NW Trail Run assoc that sponsors this annual marathon did a remarkable job of marking this maze of trails, without which getting lost would be an inevitability. We were all amazed by the quality, beauty, and variety of the trails and the topography. The 10K hike (Francine).

When we got to the lighthouse, a group of tourists aboard the Zodiac were disembarking and we got to add the historic schooner to our scrapbook of pictures (I’ll let Wendy’s awesome photography do the honors). The Zodiac is a tall ship like the Adventuress but a bit bigger. more photos here. This day was a keeper – thanks everyone!

Their tour is only open to the public on Sunday, September 19th while the Fiber Farm tour is available both Saturday and Sunday, September 19th and 20th.
