We decided to have an early lunch in Tawau town before heading to one of the parks not too far outside of Tawau. Our taxi driver took us to this place. I had a mix of steamed rice and nasi kuning (yellow rice), some tempeh, paku. Fern shoot) and beef rendang. The tempeh was a little too sweet. Didn't quite like how the paku was prepared.

This char kway teow stall is just a few shops away from the famous Auntie CKT. RM8 Same price as the other one I think(? The taste was quite okay but I think I still prefer the other one i.e Auntie CKT as hers is fried with charcoal fire whereas this one is with gas. 3 big prawns, nice and fresh! Quite good, but I think the one.

Another run-of-the-mill dim sum place. This one is in Jinjang Utara. I went to the post office there because I had to mail a parcel overseas. Har Gau and Chicken feet (as usual :D). Prawns Chee Cheong Fun. 5 items and a glass of hot Chinese Tea cost me RM20. That's for breakfast. I skipped lunch. Restoran Kwai Lim Dim Sum. Links to this post.

I have heard about Langat Seafood and Beer Garden a few times and finally have a chance to dine there a few days ago. Claypot tilapia. Nice and fresh (of course! No muddy smell either. However, the fish was quite fat! Claypot pork with potatoes in it. Lovely but I wished the pork were slightly leaner! Langat Seafood and Beer Garden.

My first time making BBQ chicken wings in my turbo oven. Chicken wings marinated with soy sauce, 5 spice powder and some white pepper for at least 4 hours. As for me, I like my wings moderately charred like what you see below. Yum! Unfortunately, I forgot to check on my chicken wings (no thanks to Facebook :P) and the wings got a little burnt.
