Thursday, April 28, 2011. My Dad has made this fantastic little billy-cart for the grand kids to use when they visit. Our kids think it is just great, and had so much fun with it over the Easter break! Luke found the perfect place to trial it- an empty carpark with a gentle slope to it and the most gorgeous view. Maeve tried her hardest to ride it backwards down the hill (eyes closed) which was very funny to watch- she is a crack up that kid! Hope your holidays left you feeling relaxed and recharged x.

Sunday, March 27, 2011. Lovely lounge and cosy cushions. So here's the lounge. Cleaned, repaired and slightly modified - goodbye skirt, hello legs! I am so, so happy with how it scrubbed up. We finally brought it inside today, which was just a little bit exciting. It goes kind of well with our other mismatched lounges. And you will be glad to know that I have actually been doing some sewing again - yep, I know. super exciting. See those colourful cushions? And 'Love' by Amy Butler. And pretty knitted vest.

Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Because I love you. I bought Kasey Chambers' new CD yesterday and when I got to the car I popped it straight in. I love her music and I love the new CD. Saturday, September 1, 2012. We spent the rest of the day exploring the beach, collecting, building and relaxing. I attempted a surf at Bastion but was quickly frozen and lasted only a few minutes. Something I have also learnt about myself on this trip is that as much as I would like to say I enjoy my own company, I don’t. And I don’t like isolation, this includes surfing in isolation. It has been cold today and the change in temperature between states is noticeable. Tomorrow we move again.
