This is a story of feature creep spiraling wildly out of control, but in a good way. This project started off when my old strobe controller. Broke It was just a little box that I could plug into a microphone and a strobe light, and it would trigger a flash when it heard a noise. An experiment in seeing how many particles I could render in real-time using WebGL. May not run well on all systems. An experiment with skeletal animation in WebGL. After doing several long, complex projects, this time I thought I would do something relatively simple. Something straightforward and useful that I could have. Done in a month or two. LED displays, Sparkfun. S Nordic wireless modules, and Ponoko. Displays from Sure Electronics; I figured 4 tall digits were big enough to read from across the gym, and that putting the two together for a total of 64x16 pixels would be enough for a clock display. I like to do some 3D modeling and programming in Blender. And 3D printing with my Form 1. Experimenting with an idea for a camera pouch. Playing with driven animation. Tried modeling my phone, and compositing it into video. Experimenting with code to make skeletonized objects with nice voronoi patterns. A magnetic snap-together puzzle I designed. A wireless charging cradle for my phone. Clips to hold my Curta Calculator in the display case I made.

I developed this for a Computer Graphics class I took while I was in school. Our final project was to make something cool, so I thought I'd try my hand at developing a meta-balls simulation. The wireframe is generated with the Marching Cubes algorithm, textured by a cubemap, and the background drawn with a skybox. Source on request.

Luckily for our pneumonics, thiosulfate in an oxyanion of sulfur, and onions sometimes smell like sulfur, well more like sulfur than chocolate, which has theobromi(d/n)e in it. The picture to the left is a space-filling model of the thiosulfate anion found in onions. Thiosulfates are bad for cats and dogs, y'all.
