Aunt Gretchen Joins the Blogosphere. Another family blog linking up to the blog-having and blog-reading family. Sunday, December 30, 2012. Little Lee is 9 months old! Sitting in my Greatmother's rocking chair. Philip scanned some of Grandpa Schlappi's cartoons and put them together and framed them for Kirk to hang in his office. Lee had lots of fun playing with the tissue paper and bows. Great Grandpa Stevens playing with Lee. This wonderful family picture made me cry! Beautiful Heather in her new scarf.

http://themommylane.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Life in the Mommy lane. Saturday, November 12, 2011. Baby Lars and such. What a ride that last week has been! So last Saturday while I was getting ready for the day I had a moment where I saw stars. My blood pressure was 165 over 100. I called my Doc and we agreed that it was time to have this baby! I called my parents and they started the hour drive to our hospital and I packed whatever was left over to pack and off we headed! I stayed in the hospital until Wednesday afternoon. Thursday was his firs...
Life in the Mommy lane: August 2011
http://themommylane.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Life in the Mommy lane. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. The last of Summer. Yesterday we decided to beat the heat and head down to the Malibu Pier for some cooler temps and a little water play. Anders ended up going in the ocean and playing with some new friends for about two hours. It was a great last summer hurrah. When Mason got home from school Anders got to show him his new robot that he got last night at the Robot store in downtown Glendale. It is quite the hit! Monday, August 22, 2011. A little fill in.
Life in the Mommy lane: The Lifter Of My Head
http://themommylane.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-lifter-of-my-head.html
Life in the Mommy lane. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. The Lifter Of My Head. I was able to talk to Anders about it and and his first question was "did he take too many drugs? I told him that I didn't know but that he was getting help now. As a Christian I have struggled through the disillusionment that came when I realized that my religion is not perfect. That my church is not perfect. That the people I have looked up to are not perfect. God is the redeemer of people. He can turn our sorrow in to joy,...

CLICK HERE FOR BLOGGER TEMPLATES. The little stories that make our life. Monday, November 14, 2011. A One Month Birthday Party. This past weekend we had the privilege of hosting a belated baby shower which turned out to be on the one month anniversary of this darling little boy's life. He is the 3rd son of our dear friends and we had the honor of having his sister stay the night with us as he was making his entrance into this world. Planning parties is a passion (if you haven't noticed). Creating all...
What We're Up To.....
http://bloggyfamily.blogspot.com/2011/02/tough-traveler-on-our-last-trip-to.html
What We're Up To. Our big family is all over the place, but somehow these blogs make the world seem much smaller. Thursday, February 10, 2011. On our last trip (to Nuremburg and Munich) Amelia had all sorts of travel phrases just rolling off the tongue. "Are we going to check into our hotel? What time does our train leave? Where's the train station? Do we need to check out now? I am chucking at this photo of Amelia! She looks so grown-up and in charge! I love hearing her vocabulary! Oh, how nice!
Life in the Mommy lane: Little Update
http://themommylane.blogspot.com/2012/09/little-update.html
Life in the Mommy lane. Thursday, September 13, 2012. Life has been galloping along here at the Jensen house! He loves Anders and really laughs at whatever Anders does. Sometimes that bugs him especially when he's not trying to make Lars laugh. Mostly Anders LOVES his little bro and they already have a sweet relationship building. I love seeing them interact. Yesterday he read it to the first grade class. He seems to thrive on performance and loves to make people laugh. One other tricky thing is that the...

Rejuvenating India’s agriculture sector. January 3, 2012. The need for increasing agricultural productivity through technology infusion and market-led interventions is gaining urgency. It is well-acknowledged that every rupee of contribution to GDP from farming is twice as effective as other interventions in alleviating rural poverty. Agriculture is an indirect growth driver, as a growth rate of 4% in agriculture translates into robust demand for other sectors. December 21, 2011. Companies including Mons...

Food Revelations | A Response to The Omnivore's Dilemma by Micheal Pollen
A Response to The Omnivore's Dilemma by Micheal Pollen. A Look at Canadian and American “Organic” Regulations: by Justine Voutt and Jen Arnold. July 27, 2012 by foodtheoryseven. After reading The Omnivore’s Dilemma, and after some talks in our Food Theory class about the term “Organic”, we were curious to know what certification entailed. We found the official certification guidelines for Canada and the US. They were suprisingly similar. Here are the requirements we were made aware of:. Containing less t...

Simply J9 – Inspiring Food for an Inspired Life!
Inspiring Food for an Inspired Life! A lot of people think rice cakes taste like cardboard and they aren’t wrong. They have a bland dry taste but a fantastic crunch. If you add the right toppings rice cakes can become a fabulous snack or dessert that tastes nothing like cardboard. I added a weight watchers jalepeno cheese wedge, sliced tomato, garlic poweder, cracked black pepper, and Italian seasoning to this rice cake! Think outside the box with rice cakes! The possibilities are endless! June 16, 2015.
