Carlisle Lake, 1914 – 2014. September 12, 2013. A group of dedicated citizens in Onalaska, Washington have worked to raise money and write grants in order to purchase Carlisle Lake in 2011. Since then they have built a walking trail around the 73 acre lake and are currently working on a parking lot. Carlisle Lake was dredged in 1914 to support a logging mill, which was the primary industry in Lewis County. Today you can still the smoke stack from the original structure. Meadow Stream →.
