onceadaygourmet

Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Well - it has been a while since my last post but I had a baby! And so here I am writing to you as a new mom and with a new twist on the once a day gourmet mission. Mackenzie is now 6 1/2 months old and I am taking on yet another challenge, making my own baby food! Wednesday, September 08, 2010. Fig and Arugula Salad. 1-2 cups of water. 3/4 cup of sugar. Sprinkle of ground cloves (cloves are strong so just a little bit will go a long way). Bay leaf (this adds to the spice).

Sunday, January 9, 2011. I havent seen Erik in twenty something years, hes my cousin. I got to take him to lunch, and spend a short amount of time with him before he left for Oregon again. It was wonderful to see him! Tuesday, January 4, 2011.
