felt cafe: wee easy stuffed animals project, fabric crayons
http://feltcafe.blogspot.com/2009/08/wee-easy-stuffed-animals-project-fabric.html
Monday, August 03, 2009. Wee easy stuffed animals project, fabric crayons. This is one of the projects i was working on last month: tiny stuffed animals. They are super easy to make, i used a cute cotton ed emberly. Print, and just sewed around the animals. I made a simple background cloth with fabric crayons. Here's how to make them. Project-mine only have an animal on one side. Turn them inside out and stuff. hand sew the rest of the way around. (sorry, no photo! Fabric crayons are great for kids too!

Adventures in Parenting: Healthy Habits
http://parentsadventures.blogspot.com/2012/05/healthy-habits.html
Wednesday, May 2, 2012. As many of you know, my husband and I have dedicated ourselves to a healthier lifestyle. We have been working out every day for the last 45 days, and we intend to keep going till we can go no more! I have also decreased the number of Pioneer Woman recipes that I prepare and increased the healthier recipes. I love love love PW, but I am not a rancher, so I probably shouldn't eat like one every day :o). I have also become a beachbody coach. How have we changed? The general rule of t...

Friday, August 20, 2010. Here are a few pictures of my newest project. It is from a New Look pattern. It only took me two days to complete, and I added the band on the bottom of the pants all by myself :o) My model isn't the most cooperative model, hence the three pictures. Posted by Stephanie Krohn. Black Bean Tamale Pie | eggs on sunday
https://eggsonsunday.wordpress.com/2008/03/19/black-bean-tamale-pie
Seasonal recipes, photos and stories from an Ithaca food-lover. Black Bean Tamale Pie. March 19, 2008. There was a period of time after I graduated from college when I was really enamored of one-dish meals. Maybe it was because it meant less dishes for me to do (now I’m lucky to have a husband who doesn’t mind dish-duty when I cook dinner, even when the kitchen is a complete disaster area! Not if you’re hopelessly devoted to cornbread as we are! You can improvise on the black bean mixture any way you lik...

Adventures in Parenting: Jack's Geography Project
http://parentsadventures.blogspot.com/2010/09/jacks-geography-project.html
Tuesday, September 7, 2010. This month, the homeschool group that we belong to gave us the option to complete a geography project on a country. Jack decided to research Germany. We focused on using lots of pictures so Jack could present as much of the project as possible by himself. He had a lot of fun learning about the industry, culture, and animals. He was the only little kid to actually talk and present his project. I am so proud of him! Posted by Stephanie Krohn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Friday, March 30, 2012. Tutorial- Make Your Own Shorts/Pants. As my sewing skills and confidences grow, I would like to start sharing my knowledge with others. This is the first time I am trying to write a a tutorial. Hopefully someone will want to try and out and let me know how it worked for them! The front and back pieces of your clothes are not identical, so you need to trace both the front half of the shorts and the back half. Make sure you label your pattern pieces! Cut out your pattern pieces.

http://parentsadventures.blogspot.com/2012/04/audreys-new-swimsuit.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. I can't tell you how easy this swimsuit was to put together! I have been looking at many tutorials for swimsuits, but this one seemed to make the most sense to me. That particular post is just the directions to assemble the suit. She also did a blog on how to create your own pattern. The bathing suit probably only took me about an hour to complete and I love the final product! Posted by Stephanie Krohn. April 27, 2012 at 3:27 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Why I Blog...

Once Upon a Paradigm. Musings, reflections, and opinions on life, politics, spirituality, and just about everything else. On Losing Three Trees in a Blizzard. March 3, 2018. Sung to the tune of Johnny Nash’s “I Can See Clearly Now”). I can see clearly now the trees are gone. I can see all the snow still on my roadway. Gone are the gorgeous pines that blocked my view. Gonna be a bright, bright front lawn someday. Rob wanted all those trees down years ago. I told him, Oh no, honey, it’s privacy! I have no ...
