Sunday, May 1, 2011. We had a pretty calm March, with the exception of one week. Annie came to visit us and brought her three cute little boys! We had so much fun with them and stayed super busy all week. Kailey and Kaden were as cute together as always- playing happily no matter what we were doing! Monday, April 11, 2011. So, once again I'm way too far behind on my posts. It's definitely way past time to update our blog. So, backtracking a few months, we'll start with December. It was a crazy month- Kailey had a school performance, Chad's parents came to visit us, and of course we had Christmas! We opted to stay here in California the whole holiday season, and though we missed family, it was much more relaxing then previous years. My two pretty girls helping me decorate the Christmas tree.

Saturday, September 18, 2010. Kailey has turned into a little artist. She loves to color and draw all sorts of things. Here are a few examples. A horse (My favorite). An Ant (Chad's Favorite). Saturday, July 11, 2009. Fourth of July Celebrations. We were all exhausted by the time she went to bed, and of course she was up bright and early and ready to play again. Thank goodness for our Moby Wrap. Maddie stayed in that the entire time and slept her way through the park. Since our kids were so little, we had to stick to the small hikes this time, but we are already planning a trip in the future to do the bigger hikes. Kailey in the Indian Village. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Kailey was so much fun making sure that we left carrots out for the reindeer on Christmas Eve and helping Maddie open her Christmas presents. Maddie had the most fun with the wrapping paper rather than the toys she got. Ward Christmas Party- Kailey is afraid of Santa, so I had to hold her to get her in the picture. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Kailey has always had the ability to say and do things that make me laugh, but lately she has just been coming up with more and more stuff. Tuesday, September 15, 2009. First Day of School. Today was Kailey's first day back at preschool. She has been so excited to go to "preffy K" as she calls it. Its the preschool for older kids (called Preppy K) and is three hours this year instead of two. Here she is all dressed and ready for school. And of course we have to take a picture of Madeline when we have the camera out. Kailey actually took this one, isn't she a great little photographer? Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Thursday, May 20, 2010. 20 pounds 9 ounces. Two teeth officially in. Taking a few steps, crawling faster than I've ever seen any baby crawl. Climbs EVERYTHING. Today she somehow even made it onto our couch- yikes! Favorite word is "ow", but also loves to yell "mama" and follow me around. Favorite Food is any veggie except peas. Does not like oranges, bananas, or pears. The list grows longer every day. She is a picky eater just like Daddy. Loves to give kisses and snuggle. Loves to sit and read books.

Sunday, October 10, 2010. A couple weeks ago, our little girl turned 5! I know, we can't believe it either. She requested a "Dinosaur Birthday Party", so that's exactly what she got. We planned it for the park, and luckily it turned out to be a beautiful day! Here is the cake- her Dinosaur Island Cake. Chad tells her these little Dinosaur Island stories that he makes up for her every night, so I did my best at making a cake for her. Each child got their very own special dinosaur masks to wear and play in!
