Sunday, June 9, 2013. Well, it's official! I am hanging up my classroom teacher hat for awhile. I will be a part-time primary support teacher in the Fall when I return. Sunday, March 3, 2013. Island Dreams, Dental Woes, and Pneumonia. It's been way too long since I've last blogged. I had every intention of being a frequent blogger. Then the school year started. Enough said. This class (my last class for awhile.note the foreshadowing) is one of the tougher classes I've had in my teaching career. Back to that foreshadowing. Did I mention "Island Dreams" in my title? That's because Wiley has accepted a pre-clearance position in Nassau. Nassau as in the Bahamas!

Monday, August 26, 2013. We Have a Date! We have our date for moving to the Bahamas! We got word last Thursday. We've been telling family and now it's time to put the word out there. We are moving to Nassau October 5. It feels so soon! I officially resigned from my teaching position today. GULP! I will not be returning to teaching for 2-5 years.
