This morning, a Facebook friend commented on how a blood orange tree in his yard (in Palm Springs) collapsed, leaving him with lots of oranges to deal with. I joked about having his gardener/cabana boy do it instead, and in all seriousness, he explained what advice his gardener had given him. I was joking about having a gardener! Oh, to have such problems. This is especially poignant because I had just spent an hour shoveling the driveway.

This weekend was beautiful and instead of staying at home and addressing the things that need to be done in the house (finish Ivy's room, clean the kitchen, paint the stairway.), Kevin and I went for a long drive on Saturday afternoon.
