One Crayola Short: Laurel Burch Cats
http://onecrayolashort.blogspot.com/2009/11/laurel-burch-cats.html
Lessons designed for 45 minute classes. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Finally students can add some personal touches. They can add a mouth, tongue, whiskers, freckles, lines for toes, wings, and/or a halo. Next, they need to go over every pencil line with black crayon very darkly. I show them how to color over the same spot several times to cover all of the color of the paper. Better using these color groups! Labels: Artist: Laurel Burch. Very nice lesson. What grade is this? Lessons designed for 45 minute classes. Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Lindsey Wright, from the blog at OnlineCollegeClasses.com contacted me about composing a guest post for One Crayola Short. So without further ado, here is Lindsey's article. 45-Minute Digital Art Lessons are Inexpensive and Beneficial for Young Students. With the declin...

http://onecrayolashort.blogspot.com/2010/09/more-of-my-classroom.html
Lessons designed for 45 minute classes. Saturday, September 11, 2010. More of my Classroom. Learning Targets are written using "I Can" statements, which I find really easy to write, and the kids find easy to evaluate. Here is the outside of my classroom door. My room was the stage when the school was a high school, so it has a frosted plexiglass window that I covered with the large poster. September 11, 2010 at 5:56 PM. Love the I CAN statements! I post objectives every week too! Hi, Jodi……&#...I am a fu...

Substitute Masterpiece Zone Lessons. Art Room Bulletin Board Ideas. Mini Murals Summer School Project. Art Journal Ideas and Drawings. Art Room Bulletin Board Ideas. I currently only have three bulletin boards to worry about at my school. I am sad to say, however, between all the cutting, pasting, curriculum writing, teaching, drips of paint, communicating with parents, squishing of clay, project drying, and overall art making my bulletin boards are one of my more stressful tasks. Substitute Masterpiece Zone Lessons. Art Room Bulletin Board Ideas. Mini Murals Summer School Project. Art Journal Ideas and Drawings. Substitute Masterpiece Zone Lessons. Every year I begin my classes with a Substitute Masterpiece Zone Lesson. This is an art lesson that I begin with the students on the first day and then tuck it away.
