Have you ever seen one of those images made out of text or patterns? I did that today when I made a picture out of text. Once again, I turned to wikiHow. Every day for a year, starting on my 49th birthday, I will do something I've never done before. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. The year found me making a salad with dandelion leaves from my yard, a savory smoothie, corn tortillas from masa, and sauerkraut from shredded cabbage for the first time. I started doing the daily newspaper crossword puzzles, resized a king-sized comforter and shams to fit my bed and pillows, got an orchid plant to rebloom, and purchased my own shirt back from a resale shop.

He was one of those rare people who brought laughter everywhere he went. I’ll never forget his sense of humor or his contagious smile. I’m glad I stayed. He broke both of his arms.
