Wednesday, September 25, we celebrated Cannon's first birthday. We decided to keep it pretty low key, so we just had a small family party that night. This little girl is eating like a champ! She has already gained back the weight she lost in the hospital and has surpassed her birth weight. In eight days she gained 14 oz! The goal for babies is to gain an ounce a day. I think it is safe to say she accomplished that goal with flying colors :). I'm lovin' these two! I am so glad I get to be their momma! The celebration started out the night before with these pre-birthday tulips :). Adelaide woke up at 11:59 pm to eat. I really think that she just wanted to be the first one to wish me happy birthday. All day I thought I was turning 29. I was only turning 26. I have no idea why I kept aging myself by 4 years! Regardless of how old I was turning, it was a fabulous day! I have the best husband. He always makes my birthday feel like a special day. He took off work and we had a relaxing day. Well, someone did.

I had dressed Rosie earlier and Liza Jo said Rosie needed a skirt. I said, "Rosie do you want to wear a skirt? Liza Jo said, "Are you crazy! Of course she wants to wear a skirt! Liza Jo is teaching Rosie the ropes. That's for sure! Oh well, such is life! Days like this make being a mom so rewarding and fun!

Monday, March 29, 2010. With this little guy I was sick for 6 months of my Pregnancy. I threw up at least. 3 times a day. I remember thinking to myself, "I will NEVER do this again! But then the sickness passed, and I pigged out on chili cheese hot dogs for the rest of my pregnancy. After having sweet little Everett I realized it was totally worth it, and yes I would do it again! With this little guy, I was sick for 2 weeks. I thought, "Hey, I can handle this. That was easy! I am NEVER doing this again!

So I have to use my husbands work computer so as not to send my soul down to hell.
