Hideous Belltown: Speaking of Losing a Parking Lot...
http://hideousbelltown.blogspot.com/2015/07/speaking-of-losing-parking-lot.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. Speaking of Losing a Parking Lot. This is what's happening on 3rd, between Battery and Wall:. There used to be buildings on this lot. Remember Exotica Imports? It was a record store. Remember record stores? Anyhow, the one-story building stood at the corner of 3rd and Battery, but was knocked down around 10 years ago. It has been a parking lot ever since, but the mowing down of trees seems to indicate that they're getting ready to build something. Let's hope it's not ugly! Your Sun...

Just so you know, my camera does not take pictures fast. It's kind of like: focus, focus, focus, snap; wait, wait, wait, ready again, sort of. So there's a lot of time between shots. Eventually, he did run off, but I'm so not used to squirrels holding still for such a long time. Links to this post. It's Here, It's Done. And such. Fun! Links to this post.

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Links to this post. Touch the Obelisk of Knowledge! This has been my view at work for the past week or so. The sun ducks behind the Continental Place shortly after 3:00 every day, creating a very cool effect. If I was an early hominid, I'd have no trouble touching this. Links to this post. Hideous Belltown: They Built a Very Large Thing Yesterday
http://hideousbelltown.blogspot.com/2015/07/they-built-very-large-thing-yesterday.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. They Built a Very Large Thing Yesterday. And it's just a block away:. OK, so there's going to be one less parking lot in Belltown. They're building something big at 2nd and Virginia. It's a little bit of a mystery why, since they're no doubt going to be condos or high-end apartments. But the thing is that the Sound and Queen Anne views for most of the units will be blocked by other buildings. Oh well, I guess they know what they're doing! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Here's a squirrel. He's been eating a lot of dirt. Enjoy! Links to this post. Sunday, May 24, 2015. After all that running around at the playground, even squirrels have to take a break. A few years back, the Parks Dept. put in some playground equipment at Denny Park. They really wanted another segment of the population other than bums to visit. Since then you do actually see children at the park. Now there's a change of pace! Links to this post. Hideous Belltown: June 2015

Sunday, June 28, 2015. OK, so this blog hasn't completely switched over to squirrels, but there's still an emphasis on things squirrel - those being squirrels themselves. I met this character yesterday in Denny Park and though he wasn't considerate enough to hang out in the area of dappled sunlight (which makes for all the best photos), he did stay still long enough for this and a few other good shots. By the Clash and it made me think that it had a tremendous amount of filler - dub remixes of previous tunes and the like. I checked to see how many tracks were on it (37) and made it a goal to write more tracks. Not only that, but more concise tracks. I know that it seems ridiculous comparing myself to the Clash. I'm just a nobody, right? Links to this post.

Hideous Belltown: Your Sunday Squirrel
http://hideousbelltown.blogspot.com/2015/07/your-sunday-squirrel_12.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. I met this fellow yesterday. I offered him a perfectly good peanut, but he was more interested in sniffing the crack in the path. Squirrels are weird sometimes. Maybe theres peanut butter under there. July 13, 2015 at 6:01 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Blog Formerly Known as Project 300. Belltown/Seattle, Washington, United States.
