A shoe review (day 1) - Bacon-Flavored Thought Bubbles
http://destroyerj.livejournal.com/50881.html
The online adventure of a cynical nice guy. A shoe review (day 1). I recently bought a pair of Vibram FiveFingers. To run with. Since the reviews I read while shopping mostly didn't address my questions, I figured I'd write a review to put up places. I also believe such reviews are most useful when they take into account both first impressions and experienced use. So this is the first impressions part. The family dog weighs 8 pounds... - Bacon-Flavored Thought Bubbles
http://destroyerj.livejournal.com/48254.html
The online adventure of a cynical nice guy. The family dog weighs 8 pounds. My cats had their first adult annual checkup yesterday. They're happily both quite healthy :). And while Mario was the one complaining (i.e. howling) on the way there, it was Goomba who recognized the vet and got all hissy and swipey. My cats are also beasts! Mario came in at 18.9 lbs and Goomba at 19.8 lbs! Or reducing their supply even more (while the bag's feeding amount table doesn't go beyond 14 lbs, if you extrapolate the n...

I'm still alive. Er. that's all I have to say right now, sorry. Literature map, update. Jan 25th, 2007 12:29 pm. This is too cool: Literature Map. Those of you more literarily inclined (that can't be a real adverb, but I like it anyway) can tell me how accurate you think it is. I like reading. I should do it more often.

200809.21 @ 19:08. On 2008.09.21 at 19:08. How Can I keep from singing (in my head). The interesting part is that I tried to find the origins of the posting and it came from. Yup - a month and a half ago - well before the current financial crisis[*]. It's almost like. So, I've been singing at St. David's Episcopal Church. So, I could tell that. But, of course, I'm not coming at this from a theist point of view. How do other folks feel? At 2008-09-22 02:24 (UTC). I see absolutely no problem with an athies...

Bad Numbers - Gary Godfrey

200801.29 @ 12:17. On 2008.01.29 at 12:17. Piped in white noise. Article in the Statesman is the type that upsets me. The headline, "Study: Texas same-sex couples who have kids earn less than married couples with children" takes some questionable numbers from the study and puts them on the top. My first thought when I saw the headline was, "I wonder if they controlled for age." Answer: not found in the article. Luckily, they did provide a pointer to the original .pdf. At 2008-01-29 18:55 (UTC). Well, I'd...

200904.15 @ 21:49. On 2009.04.15 at 21:49. So, Kris and I were chatting with. Last night and they mentioned that they were thinking of dumping their cable service. Like them, I'm currently using the bundled TW service (cable TV, internet, phone) and I'm really thinking the phone (in particular) is a Bad Deal. So, I think it's time to go unbundled VOIP. I ordered a VOIP adapter. From Amazon and created an account with CallCentric. I was even able to do a couple of test calls with twinkle. One disadvantage...

I forgot to bring my ear plugs and the bands were a bit louder than we usually have in Austin. I could actually feel the air move across the hair on my arm when the drums hit. Observations of the Hollywood audience vs. the Austin/Elysium audience:. 2 There's more (and better) dancers in Austin. 3 Austin audiences tend to sing more in key. 6 This was definitely a goth audience, same as Austin....

When I got there, but I wanted to check out the action and see what kind of event it was. Turns out that there's a smallish SCCA track on the East side of town, and with pristine pavement and legs that didn't feel dead, I couldn't pass up the chance to see how far off the mark I might still be.
