Typically, capital is usually the most dangerous, so our idea was soon out of Lima and head south. But on the advice of our friend Peio, we came knocking on the door of the Casa Vasca the first day. And we were not aware of how lucky we were having! Since we opened the door we were greeted with pepper omelette, cod . and txakolí! It was like being at home! Where they were making meals, playing cards . and where we were allowed to be part of your family. But the whole journey waiting for us!
