Most of us in the teaching profession struggled through our own desperate periods of awkwardness and can empathize with our students who are dealing with the same issues. Through the years I've stayed at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast and the infamous Myrtle's Plantation just to name a few. I'm up here in DC giving tours for a few months so my precious days off are filled with random adventures.
