The first week I realized these lessons are totally hockey focused (and we agreed to 12 weeks) but luckily I've convinced Sora that being able to play hockey will help her on her way to becoming a great figure skater. Sunday, December 28, 2014. We have had a super busy week, but as usual we've been too busy living to take too many photos. Sora had a lot of fun being a camper at Winter Camp. She's a master photo evader though so of all 40 kids there, she was photographed the least. Here she is starting to build an ice castle. Thursday, June 11, 2015. Sora's last day of school was Wednesday. For some reason, the power went out as soon as we dropped her off and was still out when we picked her up. It's a good thing it was only a half day! After school, there was a picnic on the playground followed by a short moving up ceremony for all of the kindergarteners. Sora loved her teacher, of course. Saturday, November 29, 2014. As a kid, I always loved roller skating. I've been wanting to take Sora for a while now but we've never had a chance. With my parents in town and Kyle up at camp working this weekend, I decided this would be the perfect opportunity. Sora fell a lot. Especially at the beginning. Monday, August 3, 2015. Sora and I went north to visit my parents for an extended weekend. On the way, we stopped to enjoy the gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier. We also stopped to visit my uncle, aunt and cousin at a park for a playdate. We were too busy for pictures, of course. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. We have had a crazy week around here! Last Tuesday was the Race for Education at Sora's school. Kyle was able to volunteer for most of it. Sora ran and walked around the playground for an hour. Each time she passed the checkpoint Kyle punched her card. She went around over 12 times!
