Left hands are so over rated! April 30, 2012. Another fine motor task that Gavin has mastered is one I'm not so thrilled about. His ability to play hockey games on the PS3. He LOVES this recent skill and would play it all day if we let him. The scary part is how good he is at it. Left hands are so over rated! February 24, 2012. The Gift of Grace. I just found out about a wonderful children's book about limb differences called, "The Gift of Grace". Grace was told by a little boy at school that she must be stupid because she has a stupid little hand. She was upset because she knew that wasn't true and it inspired her to write this book when she was five years old. Wednesday, October 27, 2010. We visited Children's Mercy Hospital on Monday and after a few tests we have been told that Ashlyn. Has an "innocent murmur". The doctor said it's so mild they wouldn't even track it. She doesn't have any restrictions or worries. She said it should not cause her any problems and it's possible she may even outgrow it. So THAT was terrific news! Now on to the fun stuff. We (my mom, Ashlyn. We finally found the perfect pair and made our way back to pay for them when Ashlyn.

So while up to this point maintaining three blogs has been fairly easy, I fear that adding Twitter and eventually Facebook to the mix may be pushing things.
