Through this adoption process I've had the pleasure of meeting so many other people, near and far that host, adopt and/or advocate for orphans. What a great community of like minded people to belong to. One new friend is Karen Kochies. Karen is in the process of bringing home a sweet boy named Ruslan. One Little Step is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which provides a specialized movement program for children with special needs. Our program utilizes the principles of the Feldenkrais Method. One Little Step is dedicated to the comprehensive development of each child child. Informed Movement For Children. How does it work? Recognizing that it is the brain that drives movement, and not muscles, and that the brain has the ability to learn or relearn after injury and damage, the Feldenkrais Method.
