Yankee Belle: Bo’s (Actual) Birthday
http://matthewandmeghan.blogspot.com/2013/07/bos-actual-birthday.html
Sunday, July 28, 2013. Bo’s (Actual) Birthday. I didn’t have time to be weepy or nostalgic during Bo’s birthday party and really mostly just felt grateful and happy to have our friends and family there celebrating. I woke up in the wee hours of Sunday morning to let Buddy out for his usual middle of the night backyard frolic and when I came back to bed, I clicked on my phone to see what time it was and gasped. Happy Birthday, Bo! Here’s to another wonderful year ahead. Labels: Bos Baby Book. Summer Desse...

Yankee Belle: 31
http://matthewandmeghan.blogspot.com/2013/05/31_19.html
Sunday, May 19, 2013. Thirty-one. It's the seventeen or the twenty-two of birthdays. The somewhat anticlimactic year following a "big one." I used to think that turning 30 was some sort of milestone in the sense that I thought I would have to have accomplished certain things by the time I was 30 or … well, basically I think I thought I'd be too old to get anything done by the time I hit 31. . My bones are rather creaky, actually. Bad idea, 20 year old Megs, bad idea.) . Bo and I visited Matt at work for ...

Yankee Belle: The Beach
http://matthewandmeghan.blogspot.com/2013/04/the-beach.html
Saturday, April 6, 2013. Another year, another Claffey family beach trip! It was a quiet and relaxing week, a nice little escape from the day to day. I ended up heading back a day early due to near-hurricane like conditions on the forecast and a Daddy who was missing his little boy. Our drive home was an eventful cap to a low key week (pouring rain! But we made it safe and sound and it didn't counteract the relaxing effects of the week. What an awesomely fun week! April 29, 2013 at 10:33 AM. Once upon a ...

Yankee Belle: Park City, Utah
http://matthewandmeghan.blogspot.com/2013/03/park-city-utah.html
Monday, March 25, 2013. Park City, Utah. We had such an amazing trip to Utah. I'm not sure the picture I took can do justice to how beautiful it is out there. I am not a cold weather person by any means, but there is something about the beauty and vastness of the mountains out there that just have me enamored with this state. The line outside Red Iguana on a random Wednesday evening was a great indication of what was to come. Their feature was the 7 different types of mole sauce which our waiter allo...

Yankee Belle: Buddy
http://matthewandmeghan.blogspot.com/2013/10/buddy.html
Monday, October 14, 2013. 8220;He was a pain in the ass. But he was our. Pain in the ass.”. It’s not the most eloquent eulogy anyone has ever delivered, but it’s one of the things Matt said to me the day we said good-bye to Buddy and I couldn’t help but laugh and smile through the waves of tears that kept streaming down my face. Such true words about our dear, sweet, loveable and incredibly difficult little dog who shared our lives for four and half years. We assumed it would get better with time. The be...

Yankee Belle: August and Everything After
http://matthewandmeghan.blogspot.com/2013/09/august-and-everything-after.html
Tuesday, September 24, 2013. August and Everything After. I hope Mr. Duritz will forgive me for taking liberty with his words on this little blog, but it seemed like an appropriate title for a post intended to sum up the rest of a month. A month! I don’t know where August went. I don’t know where August went, but we, at least, finally stopped going going going. Blogging and let’s be honest… this isn’t a job, there isn’t anyone anxiously hitting refresh (except my mom, Hi Sharebear! I’ve met people ...

Sunday, November 10, 2013. Bowen : 15 months. Stats: We haven’t had his appointment yet to get a height and weight but the unofficial weight by my scale is 25 lbs. Clothing size hasn’t changed a lot– he’s in 18 month tops, 12 month pants and 12-18 month pajamas. New words: mommy, daddy, chicken, baby, Li Li (in answer to “Who’s your best friend? 8221; I’d say “Eli! 8221; – our friend’s son who is close in age, and that turned into “Li li! Yankee Belle: 1998 Called…
http://matthewandmeghan.blogspot.com/2013/07/1998-called.html
Friday, July 26, 2013. Subtitle: The One Where I Lose my Mind over How Much I Love 90s Music. I kind of geeked out when I saw that Ben Folds Five (Five! Not just Ben Folds), Guster and Barenaked Ladies would be touring together this summer. I love music. But I love 90s music most of all, and I especially love these three bands. If only Ani DiFranco had been thrown into the mix, it basically would have been a soundtrack to some of the most formative years of my life. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
