You can tell it is truly becoming Spring around here. Our friends The Cady's sent us a butterfly habitat for the girl's birthday and right now they are in their chrysalids. Another example, new eggs. Monday, January 28, 2013. The girls had the option to join their parties and invite a couple of friends each at public venue or separate parties at the house on their respective birthdays. They chose to combine and have a party at Monkey Joes together. They had a blast with all the friends that showed up to play. The cupcakes with yellow cake inside with bubble gum flavored frosting, topped with M&Ms and a Squinkie. The girls requested them; but they even fared too sweet for the kids.

Wednesday, August 22, 2012. So, I probably need to create some sort of classroom blog or teaching blog or something for these sorts of posts, but for now, it's going here. Ok? So This week me and the Pre-K ers are learning all about our 5 senses. Today we had vinegar and water in two bowls and used our senses to tell the difference. It was tons of fun. Tomorrow we will try to tell the difference between sugar and salt. I can't wait. Here goes- sung to the tune of "1,2,3,4,5 Once I caught a fish alive":.
