Sigh of releif | onemothersview

Just another WordPress.com site. Sigh of releif April 24, 2012. 8212; Someone'sMom @ 5:36 am. Good news today: The doctors say my daughter’s life-threatening illness is stable. I knew that. I did. It was a little surprising to hear it. And in a way it shook my comfort in knowing it. Like what if it hadn’t been? She trundles along, nagging about this little aspect or another, seemingly oblivious to the toll it may take on her. Blithely planning how she will dress. Will it cause her to become more ill?

Just another WordPress.com site. How did I get here? April 17, 2012. 8212; Someone'sMom @ 12:58 am. When I dreamed of being a mother, it was always with being a wife. Without feeling any self pity, I must say this is not what I signed up for twenty years ago. I’ve been doing it alone (or mostly) for 10 years now, and it would be SO nice to have someone to lean on. I hope that by reading what I’ve written, you might feel less alone. Or that somewhere, in Cyber land, you have a sister of sorts.

I am Pissed Off. | Losing my Soulmate

Why I’m Writing. A journey to wholeness to be shared with others facing loss. Laquo; How do you feel today, Casey? Keeping that rope nice and tight. I am Pissed Off. March 11, 2013. I feel so angry today. Not your garden-variety, annoyed angry, but. Angry Do you ever feel that angry? I’m not sure it has to do with not having your best friend with you any more. It might just be about not being heard, or listened to. Is this the point at which I give up? Is this where I stop? Is it time to “wind down?

One Mother's Heart to Another
One Mother's Heart to Another. Making sense of the madness- sharing thoughts with other mothers of addicts and their families. Thursday, December 24, 2009. This year the sparkle of the holidays had already dimmed for me. Caring full-time for a parent with Alzheimer’s disease can drain a person’s health, energy, enthusiasm . . . even life. Add to that a son in prison and not being able to be with my grandchildren at Christmas and I wanted to skip December altogether. Brian was there with me the evening th...

It was great this past week when he would eat and then STOP eating! D His body was getting a signal that it was full! D I feel so bad for him now that he is back to always being hungry and never being satiated. :(. But I will be better from this point on. Ok, so I need to be MUCH better about planning in advance. I got grass...

Our firstborn child, a wonderful young man that described himself as a follower of Jesus, a song-writer, a student, a runner. How would I describe him? So what changed, what happened, what came into our home that caused so much destruction? Thank you, I hope he is a great blessing to the Crossing. My feeling for the Crossing? Join me in my quest to turn away from P.C. eating habits and get back to the basics of whole, nutritional living. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Sugar Free for One Week (so far.). Only been 1 week since Ash Wednesday. Seriously? I was feeling pretty good about my decision to let go of sugar when I noticed I'm not even halfway through my timeline! Yes, you heard me right. I decided that this year for Lent I was going to spend that time sugar-free. (Not to be confused with S plenda. Cream Eggs, Samoas.

One Mother's Life…. The Joys of Hair Brushing. February 8, 2011 @ 6:53 AM. 183; { Uncategorized. Kira, on the other hand, defies all logic and reason when it comes to her hair. She is an angel for everyone else, even Trent! I really need to get a hold on this hair situation though because each morning is becoming a civil war between us just to get her hair brushed. That, and I really hate to see my girl cry. Maybe I can tempt her with the blow dryer…. February 3, 2011 @ 10:51 AM. 183; { Uncategorized.

One Mother to Another | Postpartum Peer Support
One Mother to Another. The moment a woman gives birth and becomes a mother is truly an incredible, transformational experience. There is nothing that compares. But for many women bringing home their little bundle of joy isn’t so joyful. Physically recovering after labour and delivery, hormone changes, loss of identity, sleep deprivation, self-doubt, no sleep, breastfeeding like a dairy cow, no sleep, no sleepoh, did I mention the sleep thing? It means you’re not alone. 13 thoughts on “ Home. I just read ...

One Mo Thing | A caboodle of the thoughts in my head
A caboodle of the thoughts in my head. I want to take a moment to give a little unsolicited advice to the world. Please do not blow up your brand new romantic relationships on your social media! If you met someone a month ago and are now tagging that person on memes or videos referencing marriage and true love stop it. Treat this relationship like something special and keep it to yourself for a while. Let’s say you have a freshly hatched soft and fluffy baby chick? This entry was posted in Inspiration.
