One Primary Purpose: United We Stand
http://oneprimarypurpose.blogspot.com/2007/01/united-we-stand.html
Welcome to these weekly observations from life on the road (of recovery). Tuesday, January 16, 2007. I'd be hard put to decide on a favorite tradition, but I am quite fond of the first one. Tradition One, "Our common. Welfare should come first, our personal recovery depends upon A.A. unity.". When I was a kid I always wanted to be Maid Marian. I couldn't. Tradition One is crucial. I see people fighting it all the time and I watch as many return from a relapse. Good luck with it all. Noor Azman Othman GBE.

Welcome to these weekly observations from life on the road (of recovery). Tuesday, January 09, 2007. Read all about it! I am grateful for the moments of awareness where I am able to see how pride and fear really do evoke a "soul-sickness" (TSTT p49) within me. My Higher Power continues to provide opportunities for me to see how easily I can be "driven by a hundred forms of fear" (BB p62). Where have you been hiding? Peace be with you. Also, mind if I put a link to your blog on mine? Comments and was curi...

http://wagonrider.blogspot.com/2007/04/eyes-have-it.html
Ridin' on the Wagon. A long bumpy road - trying not to fall off. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. The "Eyes" Have It. We have been battling the pink eye (conjunctivitis) at our house. Here's with and without pink eye pictures of the ones that have had pink eye so far. Cross your fingers and hope that the third one doesn't get it too. Now on to other news:. For this I am grateful. 2) Easter was a blast - even though it snowed the day before. Leave it to Kentucky to have such crazy weather. 5) The wife has been dr...

Ridin' on the Wagon. A long bumpy road - trying not to fall off. Thursday, January 18, 2007. Learning to Think Differently. I would like to thank all the people for the helpful tugs across this bumpy road. I have been so grateful that there are people out there that can help me through this. I got to keep my son today, and he is keeping me on my toes. A new life can't be built in a day. I must take it slowly and one day at a time. I need to take baby steps now. I have to learn to think. Dying for a Drink.

Ridin' on the Wagon. A long bumpy road - trying not to fall off. Wednesday, February 7, 2007. HNT post - second week. This is what I posted on HNT this week. This is my TAT on my left arm. To me it is a very powerful sign and serves as a reminder of where I've been and where I can go. Here's what Wikipedia says about the Yin and the Yang. Everything can be described as both Yin and Yang. 1 Yin and Yang do not exclude each other. 2 Yin and Yang are interdependent. Yin and Yang are usually held in balance:...

Ridin' on the Wagon. A long bumpy road - trying not to fall off. Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Bunch of Chicken Shit! Well I went and filled out all of the proper paperwork I needed to get the JOB process going today. One comment this person said was that my wife needed to get my children away from me. He heard the song Alyssa Lies. Thanks for listening to my rage as I yelled it from my wagon - keep on tugging, it helps. Sometimes You Just Have to Laugh at Yourself. You Are Bud Light. Ridin' on the Wagon. A long bumpy road - trying not to fall off. Saturday, January 6, 2007. I'd like to start off by saying thanks to all of the commenters the support is helping me. I have a lot of naysayers that don't think that I can accomplish my goal, but as you know I am trying very hard to prove them wrong. Today is going to be kind of exciting because I am going to Chuck E. Cheeses for a party. I'm going with my kids and the wife, I hope they have fun. Thanks for the generous tugs on my wagon.

Ridin' on the Wagon. A long bumpy road - trying not to fall off. Friday, January 12, 2007. A Look Inside My Head. I would like to thank the folks supporting me first off. I had a good birthday. Got to spend it with my family and that was what was most important to me. Well, here is a little of what has been going through my head:. The longer I am sober, the more natural this way of life seems. My old drinking life was a very unhealthy way of living. More observations to come. This says it all.

Ridin' on the Wagon. A long bumpy road - trying not to fall off. Sunday, January 14, 2007. So, What's Going on? Things are going okay I guess. As for today, I went to church and it was nice. We ate our normal Sunday dinner from the local Long John Silvers, came home, thought I was going to play some basketball, but that fell through. So I ended up watching the playoffs, and as the wife says, yelling at the TV all afternoon. And the Hokey Pokey. Everyone - check out Sober Steve. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Drunken Ramblings of A Ghanaian Feel-Good Story. Monday, April 11, 2011. I’m sure you know of many other instances of people setting up one room shops and grinding it out the rest of their lives or of those satisfied with being the wealthiest people in a village and no more. And then there are our students who study and pray that one day they might get a chair and table in a civil service office or a bank and obtain security for their families. This is the way I choose, the destiny I pursue. The only que...
