Breath of Life: April 2013
http://breathoflifeministries.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
A blasphemer, forgiven. A woman, loved. Leaving the Old Life. The Journey to Peru. April 29, 2013. The Year of Growing: A New Direction. In January I dubbed 2013 The Year of Growing. My husband and I were making a series of decisions that would have a significant impact on our family, decisions that would require - and produce - tremendous growth in all three of us. The Year of Growing. April 25, 2013. The Word of God and the wisdom the Holy Spirit imparts to help me understand it. An answer to prayer.

A place to find grace connection amidst shame imperfection. On my (summer and maybe fall, too) bookshelf. June 12, 2014. June 12, 2014. And goals are *always* good! Without further ado – here is my (very idealistic) summer reading list:. The Freedom of Self-Forgetfulness. By Timothy Keller – the title says it all! By Kevin DeYoung – already read this one and reviewed it here. Stitches: A Handbook on Meaning, Hope and Repair. Perfecting Ourselves to Death. The Emotionally Destructive Marriage. By Faber an...

Recovering Perfectionist | Roots like Oaks

May 21, 2013. May 22, 2013. Ok folks. If I’m honest, I’m really only okay being a needy sinner for a few minutes, a few hours, a few days maybe. But at a certain point I feel like I’ve wallowed in that gospel-neediness long enough and it’s time for me to get out there and DO something. Old habits die hard. The more you walk with Christ, the more you realize you need him. Greater knowledge of God leads to greater humility. I see and understand. But the problem is:. Here was my old legalistic pattern:.

Flowers in His Garden: The Quotidian (19. 5. 15)
http://flowersinhisgarden.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-quotidian-19-5-15.html
May 19, 2015. The Quotidian (19. 5. 15). Daily, usual, or customary;. Everyday; ordinary; commonplace. The mess. Remember why? As it showered on day #2, more of the roof came off. And, then, they were done! Abandoned, but, too precious to move. The big clean up. All the way from Switzerland (oh. dear. me.) thank you, M and T! Thank you, T and S you bless us! The promise of plums laden with fruit. Above the kitchen sink thank you, Emma! With Love, Camille. The preparing to pray photo is my favorite. I als...

Flowers in His Garden: Soul Nourishment
http://flowersinhisgarden.blogspot.com/2015/05/soul-nourishment.html
May 15, 2015. Our pastor faithfully preaches Sunday by Sunday. From God's Word. We are so blessed to sit under his ministry. It's soul nourishment. Just as our bodies need physical food,. So our souls need spiritual food. We cannot go too long between meals. Since our Austin left this world for his eternal home,. I have come across others who have buried children just as we have done. Some have turned to the Lord in their time of sorrow,. Our precious four in 2008. We are comforted by that very thought.
