We attended a memorial service this last weekend for a man whom we'd met at Christmas brunches and the occasional Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's over the last 6 years or so. He died last November at the age of 86 but for various reasons the family had put off the service until now. Using the expiring streaming queue to guide some of what I watch on Netflix had me watching Michael Collins. Recently. He was one of the leaders of the Irish rebellion after WWI that lead to a deal between the Irish and English that created the Irish Republic and Northern Ireland. Always a good time to smack down the Elrond, "men are weak" comment. "Yeah? Fuck you elf.". Your feud with the elves is almost as long standing as the dwarves. No problem with elves per se, just ones that talk out of their ass.
