http://rewindthebestpart.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Rewind The Best Part. Wednesday, May 8, 2013. But over time it turned from work to manageable, and from manageable to something I look forward to. The expectation is one thing a day, and I can handle that. I've found my stride, and in the midst of it have noticed this project has created me to be a more mindful and present person. Although some of us were more into the party planning than others. I want to climb that tree.". And it was fun/ny. Oh, and it was Ari's first time spending a significant amount...

Rewind The Best Part: April 2011
http://rewindthebestpart.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Rewind The Best Part. Sunday, April 17, 2011. You see, moments like that fill me with an energy that is unmatched by anything else. Moments where I get a glimpse of the potential of the city. Moments where streets are filled with people, and restaurants have waits to get in, and where life is pumped into the veins of a city that is too often dismissed as dead. Saturday was a day that I'll add to that list of things that happen in Detroit that make me proud. There was a lot of representation from differen...

http://rewindthebestpart.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Rewind The Best Part. Thursday, March 10, 2011. Remembering where I hid the baby. It's common knowledge that Audry is the family baker. But when time got short on Tuesday night, I had to step in to help the. Baker finish her Mardi Gras masterpiece. Aud: "you know, this is what it would be like if we had our own bakery.". Me: "slaving away over frosting and pounds of cream cheese at night? If you're wondering, Yes, there was. Meaning to our "burning the midnight oil: bakery edition" madness. The reason is...

Rewind The Best Part: September 2010
http://rewindthebestpart.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Rewind The Best Part. Friday, September 24, 2010. Here, kitty kitty. Growing up, my sisters and I had a cat named Whiskers. A very fitting name for a cat, seeing as his original name, Elephant, was up for debate on appropriateness. 3 year old Sara knew her animals and colors well, and seeing as the cat was grey, and well. an animal, her witty little self tried "Elephant" on for size. And when days passed by, and it didn't quite fit, the change to Whiskers it was. There are lots of stories about that cat.

Rewind The Best Part. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. When Sunday turned out to be half as warm as Friday's mid-80's, it might have been slightly. Ambitious to make the seasons first trip to the Silver Dairy. But there are some things that even double jacket cold weather can't ruin. Like chocolate dipped chocolate ice cream. Posted by Emily Moiseeff. Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Arms and Hearts and Alcohol and Faith. Monday, July 19, 2010. The Debut of Ollie. My roommate Erin got a new puppy yesterday. His name is Ollie. He is supposed to be a maltese, though I'm not entirely convinced he isn't actually some kind of adorable hamster-muppet hybrid. Chani's basically okay with this arrangement:. He's super-tiny, though- he'll probably end up being like three or four pounds. Hobbies include biting string, napping. Monday, July 12, 2010. The Carter Six Degrees of Separation. 1 "I re...

Arms and Hearts and Alcohol and Faith: Game Time
http://spgordon.blogspot.com/2010/07/game-time.html
Arms and Hearts and Alcohol and Faith. Saturday, July 3, 2010. Here's a new game I made up. Of the following blocks of text, two are recent Missed Connection postings from Grand Rapids' Craigslist page, of which I've altered only the line breaks, capitalization, and punctuation (to maximize poetic value), and the other is an actual poem by John Berryman. You decide which is which. Go! I saw you recently. At Meijer in your Saturn. There was a little girl. In the back seat. D like to be your baby daddy.
