Rambling around my Life. Embroidery, quilting, reading and the general trivia which fill up my life. Thursday, May 30, 2013. Shall I call it an Autumn Quilt? The background colour is not quite showing accurately. I think I would call it an oyster green, if there is such a colour. Just a very soft off-beat green. It is 50" square and is now on the pile for quilting. January 20, 2014 at 9:43 PM. Hopefully soon we will see the results of all that quilting time. January 21, 2014 at 9:13 AM. This is a cute little block with tabs to encourage a toddler to grasp things, but soft and squishy enough for Mum or Dad to grab. The 4 inch square sides are embroidered with a, b, c and 1, 2, 3. Lay them out as the pattern shows, then join, adding tabs randomly as you go, and stuff. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

I am using split stitch, split from above. The thread is dark brown Madeira Silk Floss. And Victorian Lady No 2 is printed ready to stitch. I am delighted with the process of printing on fabric.
