This year I decided to stay home and spend the year focusing on my family instead of twenty little ones in a classroom. This is Drew's last year at home before he (gasp) joins the elementary school ranks with Addie. Seriously. Where does the time go? The new supplies. the fresh, nice looking clothes. new haircuts. new shoes. squeaky clean classrooms. I really just love the start of a school year. It is full of possibilities. Drew was a little apprehensive at first and had a major melt down with the puppets the first day but is ALL about it now. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Field Trip - Fire Department. First I would like to quiz my audience. Have you ever had a child that was "picked" on at school? It is so very frustrating! Jedidiah does. The other kids told the teacher that they didn't hit Jedidiah. It was "ALL" Jedidiah hitting them. One week we got a note sent home from Jedidiah's teacher saying that he pushed 4 kids, and poked a little girl in the eye. I am sorry! But how do you let ONE child push down 4 kids and poke someone in the eye!
