Magnum Ice Cream Tubs – One Treat At A Time
https://onetreatatatime.com/2017/01/10/magnum-ice-cream-tubs
One Treat At A Time. Middot; Ice cream. Magnum Ice Cream Tubs. January 10, 2017. A couple of days ago I found THREE (well, four but that’s a review for next week) new ice creams in Iceland. They’re a bit expensive but although I won’t pay 27 for an (ugly work) coat, I will for ice cream apparently. Ouch! I have zero patience so it took a bit of work digging in but we got there. The vanilla ice cream in all three is deliciously sweet, creamy and comforting – just as good, if not better, in a tub as ...

One Treat At A Time. January 12, 2017. January 12, 2017. For the longest time in a supermarket full of bags of chocolates, there was only one sharing sized (A.K.A I don’t feel quite as guilty eating the lot) bag of mini cookies – the humble Maryland Cookie. So when I saw Maryland were releasing two new pouches I was a bit confused as to how they’d be different.…… Continue reading Maryland Cookie Bites. McVitie’s Hobnobs Nibbles. One Treat At A Time. Yeo Valley Left Yeovers – Banoffee. January 2, 2017. Yeo Valley are doing something pretty cool, they’re taking leftover ingredients from previous flavours and making “Left Yeovers” with them, exclusive to and supported by Tesco with 10p from every tub going to the chairty Fare Share who fight hunger and tackle food waste. Remember Yeo Valley Banana and Custard? Well they’ve taken all the leftover…… Continue reading Yeo Valley Left Yeovers – Banoffee. November 11, 2016. I’d say...

One Treat At A Time. Hope And Greenwood Fudges. February 10, 2017. February 10, 2017. I was having a little browse in T.K.Maxx the other day when I found two boxes (well actually there were about 20 of them) of Hope And Greenwood fudges. They’re supposed to be 5 each (really that’s ridiculous! But were reduced to 1. I know Christmas is long gone but it’d be rude not to…… Continue reading Hope And Greenwood Fudges. Something to look forward to: Goodbye!
http://eveningtreats.blogspot.com/2014/11/goodbye.html
Something to look forward to. A blog reviewing the treats I save until later. Monday, 17 November 2014. I really enjoyed maintaining this site, while it lasted, and it's been lovely being part of a little community of other foodie bloggers. However, it's not totally 'the end' as I'm still going to be enjoying my snacks and reading other blogs for inspiration, so I'll keep in touch through comments and Twitter. Something to look forward to. 19 November 2014 at 12:11. Something to look forward to. Good luc...
Something to look forward to: Cadbury Picnic
http://eveningtreats.blogspot.com/2014/11/cadbury-picnic.html
Something to look forward to. A blog reviewing the treats I save until later. Monday, 10 November 2014. 163;100 for a multipack of three bars (Poundland). 230 per 48.4g bar. The Picnic seems to be one of Cadbury’s lesser known products – it’s not a bar I see around all that often and it must have been over a decade since my last one so I could barely remember what they were like! Something to look forward to. Let me know what you think - I love reading all your comments! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Something to look forward to. A blog reviewing the treats I save until later. Friday, 31 October 2014. Arnott's Tim Tam: Original. Arnott’s Tim Tam: Original. 163;400 for a 200g packet (monstersweets.co.uk). 95 per 18.3g biscuit. I’m a big Ant and Dec fan and it was through one of their interviews, several years ago, that I first heard about Arnott’s Tim Tam. Dec (my favourite! Although this was a while ago now – I’ve waited quite a long time to open it! To find out more! Each piece consisted of a purple...

Something to look forward to. A blog reviewing the treats I save until later. Tuesday, 4 November 2014. Cadbury Fingers: Fabulous (honeycomb). Cadbury Fingers: Fabulous (honeycomb). 163;100 for a 110g box (Tesco). Despite not being new, I’ve never bought Cadbury Fingers: Fabulous (honeycomb) before, although I vaguely recall trying one a while ago – not that I could remember what they were like! These biscuits featured the usual Fabulous. The very crispy Fingers had a sweetened scent which, whilst very n...
Grocery Gems: Review: Arla Skyr Icelandic Style Yogurt
http://grocerygems.blogspot.com/2015/04/review-arla-skyr-icelandic-style-yogurt.html
Review: Arla Skyr Icelandic Style Yogurt. I bought a few pots of Skyr Icelandic Style Yogurt when they were released in the UK a few weeks ago. It's described as a thick and creamy yogurt that is high in protein. I've never tried the real thing in Iceland so I'm afraid I won't be able to comment on any similarities. If anyone has tried both then I'd love to hear from you in the comments below. Grocery Gems Review: Arla Skyr Icelandic Style Yogurt. 6 out of 10. 163;085p for 150g pot. 9 April 2015 at 19:37.
Grocery Gems: Review: Haribo Starmix Frenzy Edition - New Flavours!
http://grocerygems.blogspot.com/2015/05/review-haribo-starmix-frenzy-edition.html
Review: Haribo Starmix Frenzy Edition - New Flavours! I've often said in my previous Haribo reviews. That it's a shame that we don't get some of the more interesting Haribo flavours that are released in Germany. Well, that's certainly not the case with the new Haribo Starmix Frenzy Edition which features a variety of different flavours. The new flavours listed on the back are Apricot (yellow bears), Pineapple (orange bears), Mandarin (green bears), Grapefruit (blue hearts), Passion Fruit (pink eggs!
Grocery Gems: Review: Hartley's Fruit Whips
http://grocerygems.blogspot.com/2015/08/review-hartleys-fruit-whips.html
Review: Hartley's Fruit Whips. Hartley's Fruit Whips are a range of fruit flavoured desserts that are made by simply adding milk, whisking, and leaving to thicken for 5 minutes. It's got to be said from the outset that these are very similar to classic Angel Delight desserts. There are three Hartley's Fruit Whips flavours available, Strawberry, Banana and Apricot - I bought all three on a 3 for £1.00p offer at Asda. To give the Fruit Whips a try. Grocery Gems Verdict: Hartley's Fruit Whips. 5 out of 10.

Grocery Gems: Review: Cornetto Caramel - Limited Edition Retro Pack
http://grocerygems.blogspot.com/2015/07/review-cornetto-caramel-limited-edition.html
Review: Cornetto Caramel - Limited Edition Retro Pack. But they are both quite different to this one. The Cornetto Caramel is a combination of vanilla and caramel ice creams, with a caramel core centre, topped with a chocolate coating and decorated with caramel flavour white chocolate curls. The flavours are all fairly simple but I immediately liked the caramel curls on top alongside the vanilla ice cream and solid chocolate coating. Grocery Gems Review: Cornetto Caramel. 7 out of 10. 163;189p (box of 6).

Review: Cornetto Vanilla Shake Ice Cream Cone. The Cornetto Vanilla Shake ice cream cone is part of the Enigma range and I believe this one was first released last year alongside the Cornetto Cheesecake Glory. Despite that, yesterday was the first time I've ever spotted one instore (in a local newsagent) and I've still never seen them available as multipacks. Let me know if you've spotted them! Grocery Gems Review: Cornetto Vanilla Shake. 7 out of 10. 160 calories per cone. 163;160 (for one cone! I've pr...

One treat at a time | Mmmmmmm goodies!
One treat at a time. I’m posting on a weekday and not stupid o clock at the weeknd! I bought this new bar in Tesco (currently on special offer at 1! And I really wish I’d got as many as I could fit into the fridge. When you open the bar the cookie smell is very strong, and very nice. I’m sure I’ve tried chips ahoy in the past, I’m not sure but going by popular opinion it seems to be one of the better mass market cookies you can buy. But you can see cookie pieces poking through the back of the bar as well.
