One web site about this technique suggested sprinkling salt on the wet paint for texture. I did. When the paint dried, lots of the salt wanted to fall off. I let it, nay, encouraged it. But some remained. Watercolors on Yupo (Flow) paper. Actual size: 9 x 12.

One of the pieces that came through when I was on solo retreat at the cabin in the woods last weekend. These things just happen. In the case of this one, there were many layers that had to be added to make it fully cooked. Flow v 2.3. Actual size: 11 x 14, or 14 x 11, whatever you decide.
