Our owner builder adventure in Bayside Melbourne: Almost plastered
http://baysidelifestyle.blogspot.com/2009/10/almost-plastered.html
Our owner builder adventure in Bayside Melbourne. Saturday, October 17, 2009. Been a good 6 weeks since I last blogged - we have been flat out! The outside of the house has been clad in polystyrene panels and rendered in the chosen colours, lots of people, including other trades, have commented on the quality of the rendering job -. We plastered the void so that the stairs will be able to go in - it's an incredible space, with 5.1 metre high ceilings -. Annie@A View On Design. October 17, 2009 at 5:05 AM.

Our House: Home Sweet Home part II
http://lenora22.blogspot.com/2009/07/home-sweet-home-part-ii.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. Home Sweet Home part II. I wouldn't quite say we are completely settled in yet, but we are definitely "home"! We promised ourselves that once we were moved in and all finished we would spend a whole day at home relaxing on the couch.(as much relaxing as one can do with a 2 and a half year old and a new baby). and last Sunday we finally did it! It was BLISSSSS.Here are some more house pictures of finished product.they are a bit all over the place but you get the picture. We run an o...

Monday, December 31, 2012. DIY Pavin pt 3: Laying pavers. Wow, is it the end of the year already? Been taking a bit of time off lately working on constructing my shed, but I guess we should finish off some unfinished business first - the little paving project. So now with the foundation of crushed rock and sand laid, you need to make sure the sand is as level as possible - I used a long straight bit of timber to sweep across the sand. PAB's new Digs: Tiles and benchtops.
http://pab34newdigs.blogspot.com/2013/05/tiles-and-benchtops.html
Monday, 27 May 2013. Start with a new front of house shot, was a nice day for a photo. Kitchen bench tops are now on. Pulled back some of the bubble wrap to get some photos. Bench tops are "Smartstone Pierre Bleu". Walk in pantry sink (single). Sinks are "Schock Signus" from Abey. In direct sunlight they have specs of red, blue, yellow, etc. Study nook beside the kitchen also got the bench top treatment, just need to decide on a colour/finish for around the window. Laundry, fitted out and tiles going on.

Go Green Build: Long Overdue Update
http://gogreenbuild.blogspot.com/2013/05/long-overdue-update.html
Thursday, 23 May 2013. I can't believe it's been so long since I last posted. It would be great if I could say that the landscaping was done but sadly it is all still a long way off. There has been some progress however. The backyard is now neatly divided from the front with the addition of a colorbond fence. This new fence goes from boundary to shed, shed to house, house to boundary. I was concerned with how it would look but am very pleased to say I really like how it has come up. A few months ago.

Tim & Tina's new home building blog - redevelopment in Australia!: Planning for Spring: Finishing up the outdoor landscaping
http://tim-and-tina.blogspot.com/2013/06/planning-for-spring-finishing-up.html
Thursday, June 20, 2013. Planning for Spring: Finishing up the outdoor landscaping. With today being one of Melbourne's coldest June days in a decade, it's not really the time to geting dirty outside - is it? We've left the front of our house until last to get done, but with most of the insides and backyard just about there, it's about time we pay attention to some street appeal! Plus something to hide the bins. As luck would have it, we were recently contacted by Dave from Online Garden Design. Who has ...

Tim & Tina's new home building blog - redevelopment in Australia!: June 2014
http://tim-and-tina.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 22, 2014. As usual, life gets in the way of updating blog stuff. What's been happening around the house? Not a great deal, really. We had a little alcove built in behind the bed in our bedroom which has been fairly empty for a while. I was wanting to put in a fancy fully built out set of shelves, hangers etc, but ended up putting in a basic wardrobe unit the other week. That's probably one regret I have about our house. didn't put in a 10 car garage with a hoist. Guess if we had that...27111...

Getting conflicting opinions on whether to clean the deck now and stain, or wait 6 months then clean and stain. If only the deck was this clean and shiny all the time! A dusk shot. The LED lights are surprisingly bright, once the backyard is properly finished, it'll look great! Tuesday, January 17, 2012. DIY Deck Part 5: 99.5% completed. On this sid...
