Life in Ohio! | The Spellmans

We’ve been living in Ohio for almost two months now. It is certainly different from Texas, but we are having a great time and love being in a house for the very first time! It actually feels like Fall here now, which is wonderful. Fall is my FAVORITE season on the year and now I actually get to experience a REAL Fall. Pumpkins, lattes, scarves, and cinnamon bread. Hope and I have been reviewing the “at” word family for a month or so now. Shortly after this video was taken we were reading a book together and found the word “at”. Well, I’ve been terrible at keeping up with my posts the past two months. I’ve still been running but sadly, not very consistently. It’s so much more difficult to crawl out from under the covers at 5:40am when it’s 30 degrees outside! We started off the day so well. The girls were laughing and we made homemade tiaras. The end of the day looked a little different. Hope decided the tiaras weren’t enough. My Baby is Two. My baby Kate is not so much a baby anymore. She’s two now and has so much personality and spunk! She’s fun, goofy, loving, stubborn, strong, and sweet. Cowtown 10k | The Spellmans

Last weekend I completed my first 10k! The Cowtown is definitely the race to participate in if you’re trying to meet a racing goal. There were SO many people and it was a beautiful course so there was tons of inspiration and encouragement. I loved every second of it! Of course, it was in the 30’s when we started, so I was frozen for the first mile or so, but after that the weather was absolutely perfect! Just so happy I actually finished the thing! Run for the Rose 2013. This past Sunday our friends and family came together to Run for the Rose. It was an honor to run on Team Michael this year and help raise funds for brain cancer research.
