He told our receptionist that he won a X brand men's model watch in a lucky draw. This prize was sponsored by our company and he would like to change the prize to a ladies' model. He repeated his request and I rejected him too. He asked me "Why not? How did I explain something that is considered a common practice in Singapore to an external party without being rude?

They are really good stories, and I would have loved to keep them except I do not have anymore space at home for more books. (Family is putting me on a book diet.sigh).
