Los gehts, die Onotoa ist wieder frisch geputzt und hat eine neue groessere Ankerwinsch bekommen, seit Mittwoch schwimmt sie wieder und wir hatten schon eine erste schoene Fahrt von Trinidad nach Grenada (80sm). Bei Sonnenaufgang um 0600 Uhr raus aus der Scotland Bay und 13 Stunden spaeter waren wir in der Prickly Bay von Grenada. 10-20 Knoten Wind und kaum Welle, echt gemuetlich - das richtige fuer die erste Fahrt. Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Heimflug / Back home. Gut eingepackt steht sie jetzt da ganz alleine in Trinidad. Alles ist arrangiert fuer die Servicearbeiten (am Boot geht ja fast nie was kaputt? Damit wir im Herbst wieder beruhigt losfahren koennen. All is secured on the boat now and some maintenance work is arranged so we can re-start later this year, Trinidad is the perfect place for that. Monday, April 28, 2014. Mont Pelee Gipfel / Summit. Im zweiten Anlauf haben wir jetzt doch noch den Gipfel des Mont Pelee geschafft, es waren zwar „nur“ etwa 650 Höhenmeter aber es war steil und heiss, Geröll und Felsen. Belohnt wurden wir von einer tollen Aussicht zwischen den immer wieder hochziehenden Nebelschwaden und hatten noch dazu das Glück, dass es den ganzen Tag nicht regnete.
