The ways of this world will not teach our children respect. Do you know that Satan wants us as parents to stick our heads in the sand so we cannot see what he's planning? Do as we say, not as we do? Saturday, August 21, 2010. We watched "Letters To God" yesterday and what a great movie. Better than that, what a great story about an amazing child of God, Tyler. I will not give away the movie, since it is a must see, but I just wanted to share what it meant to me. There was some comparison to the three struggling through a battle God allowed for them and my two children and me. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. I was unsure how to title today. My oldest son told me about a young girl at his school that died this week. She took her own life. It saddened my heart beyond belief today. I just could not imagine this young life finding nothing to live for. My prayers go out to that young girl's family and friends. Friday, January 15, 2010. I'm a little late starting my entries for 2010, but it's been busy. We had an awesome time in NC over the Christmas/New Year break. Celebrated the coming of the new year as we do, with our kids and such in NC. It was great! I am looking forward to the year. Lots going on this year with work, school, and the boys. I will be on a break from school through the summer, so hoping to get lots of riding in and maybe catching up on some reading I am behind in. Here is to a great 2010!
