Saturday, November 30, 2013. November was pretty quiet. We took a quick trip to Boston and met online friends Shelley and Juniper. (Right after this picture was taken, Andrew closed our rental minivan door on Clara's thumb.). We had a staycation down in Colorado Springs with Miss Maggie and Mr. Trey, and we went to visit the US Olympic Training Center. Tuesday, June 17, 2014. After an exciting train trip to the Bahamas, Clara's birthday was pretty low key - just our family (plus Grandma and Grandpa) hanging out near home. In the morning we went to Tiny Town and treated ourselves to a train ride and an ice cream cones. We had a DQ ice cream cake after dinner. Tuesday, September 2, 2014. A small bird flew into a window and fell down right in front of Andrew and I as we were hanging clothes on the line. It chirped, twitched, and then was still. I put her in a box. I checked to see if her tiny heart was still beating - maybe she was just unconscious. It wasn't. For Amity's birthday, Grandma and Grandpa (Aaron's folks) wanted to take us all to the train museum to celebrate. The second week, she was invited to audition for the "Classy Dancer" dance troupe. and SHE MADE IT! We've almost known each other as long as we haven't. For Jeff's birthday, we decided to get away. Since we are unable to go up north (with Z's soccer schedule and other activities), Jeff wanted to head to a great lake. We picked Huron since it isn't that far away. We stayed at the Double Tree and had a great view of the bridge and lake!
