TOO MANY BIG WORDS. Reflections: it was wild, thanks. The time is out of joint. The end of the semester nears, and I feel like I'm pumping the pedals of a bike whose wheels are all out of shape across the finish line. I've got to be out of the house by 6 am to get into the newsroom on time for the final tomorrow at 8 (not 7:30, thank goodness). It's just after midnight and I still need to eat dinner. TOO MANY BIG WORDS. Today my little blue bird died. We adopted her in 2005. She was a baby and her beak was still black. She loved a little hot dog plushie (which was stolen in 2007 by a bratty cat)and would preen his hair. My dad loved her more than anybody.
