On January 20th 2014 Hummingbird bander and expert Fred Dietrich caught a 2 year old male Rufous Hummingbird at the home of Roy Brown in Tallahassee. Fred fitted the bird with a small band which had the code L47018 etched onto it. The band code read L47018! That’s an amazing 1,930 miles west of Tallahassee. This entry was posted in Birding Trail.

On January 20th 2014 Hummingbird bander and expert Fred Dietrich caught a 2 year old male Rufous Hummingbird at the home of Roy Brown in Tallahassee. Fred fitted the bird with a small band which had the code L47018 etched onto it. Fast forward to April 17th 2014. Katie Allen captured a 2 year old Rufous Hummingbird at her banding station. It was banded! The band code read L47018! January 17, 2014.
