Tidbits I think might be interesting to technology teachers and the tech curious. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Is one of the sites. Mentioned in Tom Barrett's presentation on using Search Engines in the classroom that I blogged about recently. Soungle is a free site dedicated to collecting various sound samples. You search for the sound you want and if they have it you are able to download it and use it in your projects free of charge. Good resource to add to your bag of tricks. Via ICT in My Classroom.

Running. cause I can! Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.". Saturday, May 30, 2009. Update via Bullet Points. Motivation still at an all time low. I think I've already begun the taper process. No need to worry on doing extra workouts, I can barely get a few in as it is. 21 days till the Ironman, holy shit. I haven't been happier that it's around the corner. The last month seems by far the hardest month of all of them. As comfortable as I am...

Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Last night was our last running class. It was kind of bitter sweet saying goodbye to a coach and runners who we have run with 2 times per week for over nine months. The last nine months have been a great journey. We have worked hard and I think with the upcoming Texas heat Jill and I are looking forward to some much needed down time. Jill is starting swim training next week. She has been asked by some friends to swim the first relay leg of the Danskin. Monday, April 20, 2009.
