Extraordinary moments in an ordinary life. Monday, May 17, 2010. 6 years ago today. I can't believe it has already been 6 years since Jeff and I were engaged! With so many life changing events happening in those years, it seems like yesterday we were sitting on the steps leading to the beach and a sparkling ring appeared! I will never forget my thoughts.and I am sure Jeff will never forget my reaction! Thank you for being my Prince Charming! I am so happy with you and love you so much! 6 years ago today.

Since Jeff and I started sharing our holidays, we have always gone to his parents' home for Christmas Eve. We attend vigil mass and then head back to Grammy and Grandpa's for a light dinner and lots of gifts to open. We have so much fun visiting with Jeff's great-aunt, Nanan, her daughter, Kay, Jeff's grandfather, Gramps and Jeff's parents, Grammy and Grandpa! Santa and his little elf.

Extraordinary moments in an ordinary life. Monday, November 30, 2009. Over the hills and through the woods. We left Friday morning and stopped to cut our Christmas tree on the way back. It was raining and Caroline was not happy, so we did not get any pictures of the tree cutting, but I can say, we were in and out of the tree farm in record time and we got a great tree! An attempt at a pre-feast picture. Trying for "nice" family pictures. What is she looking at? C'monjust a few more! James Carville, too.

She makes me laugh several times a day and there are so many things she will quit doing as she gets bigger. I don't want to forget. She calls blueberries and blackberries - blue babies and black babies. Caroline's movie of the week is "Pokeno" or Pinocchio for the rest of us. All onions are "boo-hoo-hoo's". Every time I take one out, Caroline says, "Cut that boo-hoo-hoo, mama!

Thursday, February 23, 2012. FOG - Fear of Grout. I have a request now to re-size the opossum pattern to make a baby. Most of my critters turn out quite large, as I seem to have a mental block with regards to small designs. Friday, March 8, 2013. 40 weeks, 4 days. I'm about to pull this baby out myself. My doctor said on Wednesday that I have no dilation and no fluid loss, so she didn't see a need to see me again until next week, when I'll be 41 weeks, 2 days. What? Apparently it's really common for 1st pregnancies to be extra long. All of this extra time has me nesting extra hard. I've been making freezer meals to have on hand. Follow all the steps, trust me! 5 bagels from the bakery, unsliced. 2 cups shredded mozzarella.
