Thursday, September 1, 2011. New Calling, New Job, Things are looking UP! Ok a quick update on my life. The Sunday after Girl's Camp the 1st counselor of the bishopric asked me if I would be willing to serve as the Beehive Advisor, and of course I immediately said YES! I have been having fun so far, it has been a month now, it is GREAT! Friday, November 12, 2010. Easton and Keagan came over today to help Aunt Ashley and Grandma rake all of the leaves in the backyard. Monday, August 1, 2011. This was the leader song for the Miss Shalom Pageant. I wrote a song to the tune "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus, I titled it Party at Camp Shalom- Pretty fantastic is you ask me! I will try to upload the video! Yes i am the one with the blue hair! Friday, September 10, 2010. The boys raced two or three at a time and it was sort of like a relay. They had to weave in and out of stakes in the ground and stop at their designated "pit stop" to eat, drink, wash their "windsheilds," and "change their tires." Thank goodness he had an awesome pit crew (Matt, Owen, and myself) cause he got to keep moving on and won in the finals! It was a great time! Way to go Caden! Caden and Styles Weiler in round 1. Wednesday, December 1, 2010. For those of you who don't know, I quit my job at Wendy's (THANK GOODNESS! I have 2 new jobs! I am doing some private CNA care for my Dad's Aunt Jewel, and I got a job at Boomerang Bookstore! Boomerang Books is AWESOME and I love both new jobs! Between ward functions, school and family parties, trick or treating at Matt's work, and our own family traditions, we are Halloweened out! Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Yes, once again I'm really behind on my blogging. On May 24th Alli turned 11. She invited her friend Mikki over for a "spa day" and bowling. We turned our kitchen into a spa where they got facials, pedicures, and manicures. After that we went bowling, had dinner, and watched a movie. I can't believe my oldest is 11! Next year she will be in young women's! It is really fun to have her growing up and maturing. She makes for a great friend and shopping buddy! Jay and Jillian Mcgregor.
