July 26, 2015 2:42 pm. Boy, I feel like all I do is make excuses for not posting these days. How is it that there’s not a lot going on, but it’s still really busy? Or, maybe there is a lot going on, it’s just not sewing and fun stuff to share? I’ve also had fun in the kitchen. A cousin that we don’t get to see very often popped in for a quick visit. One night I made the Lazy Day Overnight Lasagne. With some yummy Artisan Bread. The Lasagne isn’t necessarily guest-worthy, but it. Clamshell has been a patt...

My second Safe Harbor quilt top is finished and ready for the quilter. Planning to take it on Friday. Cats do love quilt...

I can’t remember how many cookies this recipe made, but it seems like it was around 40. 4 teaspoons cream of tartar. 2 teaspoons baking soda. 1 cup unsalted butter. 1 cup vegetable shortening. 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract. Roll dough into a smooth ball. So I have...
